Penny waited ten years to participate in an Alzheimer’s Disease study! With optimism, Penny has committed to a four-year study with biweekly visits. In her free time, she volunteers at a long-term nearby Memory Care Unit helping those suffering from progressed forms of dementia and she constantly talks about how much happiness this brings her.
Penny is also a leader in her community as a member of the Learning Institute for Elders at the University of Central Florida. The team at Charter Research says that Penny’s passion and drive to contribute to Alzheimer’s research truly shines!
